We walked here from the hospital after a long day of waiting while a relative had surgery. The food and beer was EXACTLY what we needed, and the waitstaff is super friendly and very fast.

Zudar's is a classic staple of Tampa. I have met many friends and colleagues there for lunch over the last few decades, in addition to a simple solo lunch. Unfortunately, I fear Zudar's is going through the same challenges as all local restaurants. They need to make money, but in order to do so they need to way over charge for their food. I like Zudar's very much, but I can't afford to go back.

I was walking around in stumbled into this place randomly! So happy I found it. Everyone I met on the staff was incredibly amazing, and so kind, and attentive! The drinks are fire, and they definitely don’t under pour💅🏼 Heard a lot of great things about their food and apparently it’s interesting fusion between Louisiana and New York! If you like the north, or you like the south, or you want to try either… Perfect place

Stop the not this great bar and small restaurant before seeing Earth When nd and Fire and Lionel Richie we stop in for drinks and stayed for food also and the food and s Amazing and the drinks were so good!! Eric the one went was ver nice and cordial with us and always checked in on us and Krystal was an Awesome bartender that took great care and of us and made some Great drinks!! If you are in the area you have to stop in and see them!! We will definitely be back!!

Crystal was AWESOME!! Her service ethic were top notch. Food was Awesome!!! Atmosphere was nice n chill. Eric the owner was super nice!! Played Lionel Ritchie before our concert and got us in the mood to boogie. Thanks guys for a great first time here of coming back when we're in town.

The waitress was very attentive and funny.

It was a huge burger. If it is not a busy time of the day, you can leave your car there and enjoy the walk in the area for a while.

Their smoked wings were very good. The service was to notch, and our server was great. They wouldn't allow our big group to pay individually, but they provided multiple copies of the receipt so we could figure out the amounts and pay our paying friend.

Oysters are very good and the shrimp creole is a solid 7.8 and they have Abita beer. Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff and patrons. Makes this Louisiana boy feel at home.

Don’t skip Zudar’s. The daily happy hour (4-7p.m.) is reason enough to stop in but don’t leave before you’ve had dinner as well. The happy hour boasts $1 cold water oysters and double tall cocktails. The oysters are always on point and if you’re a horseradish fan, buckle up, the atomic horseradish is next level. After you’ve settled in with your cocktail and oysters served up with a 90s alternative music ambiance you’ll want to ask about the soup and quiche of the day. I don’t venture too far from these made from scratch delights but if you’re looking for sandwiches or main courses you can’t go wrong at Zudar’s. The Baja wrap and Blue Ribbon Mac & Cheese top the list of favorites.

We ordered a dozen $1 oysters, crawfish bread, oyster po-boy and shrimp po-boy. The shrimp on the po-boy were huge!
