Grillsmith - Carrollwood

I just wanna say wonderful it was to be served by Destiny. She had the kind of service that makes it an easy choice to come back. (By the way the spicy Thai shrimp are another reason) The thing that really solidified it all was that not only was the service towards me wonderful, but even the table behind to me was complimenting her on her attention to detail, attentiveness, etc. Thank you for making my dinner a wonderful time! I’ll be back soon!

Tonight my husband and I had the pleasure of dining out at this wonderful restaurant. Their smoked salmon appetizer is to die for, and their pork chop even better! The entire experience was incredible, top to bottom! The ambience of the restaurant is warm, modern, and inviting. Management even made sure to come by our table and make sure everything was excellent. Above all, though, the service was the best we’ve ever had. The server, Brett, was charming, delightful, meticulous, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. And dare I say… DASHINGLY HANDSOME!! (Don’t tell my husband!). He REALLY brought the entire experience together. He even recommended the key lime pie at the end, which was a delightful way to end the night. Thanks, Brett, and the entire Grillsmith crew! We look forward to joining you for dinner again soon!!

We love to eat at the bar at this location. Friendly barkeeps and really great food. Our last two visits are the issue for a review. When you air-condition an establishment some places put comfortable temps based on staff who are running around and working hard. The bar especially on our last two visits felt like sitting in the frozen food sections of a Publix. The air was never off, and for someone like myself, too be too cold for me takes effort. Mentioned it to staff but no change. We will return, but coats will be close at hand. An update to my review from our last visit this week...Management reached out after my review on the temperature at the bar, and happy to report that it was much better temperature wise enjoying dinner at the bar this time.

Table of two, didn’t have reservations, but were sat right away. When you go out to eat, you expect the quality of service you will receive here. The drinks will quench your thirst, food is fantastic, and service is prompt. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. Shout out to Mike and his GM Justin.

First time back after the lengthy shut down for remodeling. Very impressed from the outside in, very clean, tidy and super well decorated. First things first our server (I wish I had his name) was the best server ever. He was very knowledgeable with the menu, beverages and super friendly. He constantly checking on us and keeping us watered, fresh napkins and just very accommodating. The adult beverages were great, the food fantastic. The Chimichurri Steak amazing, the Ribeye fantastic, the salads, deserts and other delights were super good. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
