Hemingway's Modern Cuban Cuisine

We’ve been to this place twice and it is good. The food taste great, service is outstanding! Not sure who is the one who checks out the mobile order at the cash register (young man about late 20s, early 30s) but he is one of the best employees I have ever come across. Both times we went, I have left amazed by him. He has a deep understanding of the menu and ingredients, please give that man a raise haha!

Great food, atmosphere and friendly staff. We went at the peak hour on a Saturday and sat at the bar. Cuban sandwich was great. Well balanced and super tasty and bread wasn't over the top toasted. It was crunchy but still fluffy. Good beer select and sangria. Their rice bowl was also great! Only negative I have is the price for drinks. $8 for a cup of beer and $10 for a cup of sangria. Aside from that, I will return for the food not for the drinks.

The steak sandwich with yuka fries is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Full stop. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, but the sandwich and the fries were singular in their exceptionalism. The fries taste like they are battered in funnel cake mix and are delish. The steak on the sandwich was juicy in a good way, the ranch lime spread is very unique and goes well with the steak and cheese. The bun was fresh and tasty on its own accord. Put them all together and it's one of the best things I've ever had. Kudos and praise to the chef and staff.

Went to Armature Works with friends, and we noticed Hemingway's Cuban Kitchen and thought we'd check it out. You place your order at the bar, if you're lucky to get a seat, or at the window, and they'll text you when it's ready for pickup. We started off with Sangrias. I got blackberry, and my friends got rose peach and mango. We all really enjoyed our drinks. Then the food, the food was absolutely amazing. I had the El Ultimo sandwich, and it was delicious! The yuca fries weren't my favorite, but I'm not a yuca person anyways so my opinion may not be the best there. The order came with a cilantro garlic aioli which I enjoyed as well. Will definitely be back

While on a campus tour of Tampa University we were told about the immigration and culture and how Tampa has become a second home of the Cuban Sandwich. So we figured it would be rude not to go get one for lunch... A quick Google later and we decided to try Hemmingways. This turned out to be a fantastic decision! The yuka fries were great, the steak sandwich probably one of the best I've had and the Cuban sandwich delicious. If you are in the area and need a quick bite this place needs to be right at the top of your list! 10/10 very sad that I don't live locally 😂
