Udipi Cafe

While I was initially nervous about the string of poor reviews, I decided to go out on a limb and try out this local spot. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The food was quick, hot, and well spiced, service was friendly and prompt, and any issues from previous reviews were either handled or non-existent, including pricing!

Update: this place is always great!!! The staff is friendly and great at explaining things😃 I continue to order from here and am pleased each time! Very good! I usually get the ck madas but have tried many different dishes and have enjoyed many! The naam bread has always tasted very fresh and the dishes are aromatic and flavorful. Update: i have visited here a few more times this year. Still consistent and flavorful! The milky-cream sauce has been thick every time. Portions are affordable, food is fresh, staff is very friendly and attentive.

Brilliant place, so authentic that you forget that you are in Tampa. As for service, they have one lady who is the hardest worker that I've ever seen in my life. Just go they're to see how hard she works with a smile that never goes away. I offered to help her clean tables and remove dishes, I mean in reverse order, but she wouldn't let me. I hope they pay her in gold. She deserves it. The food is superb. I ate the South Indian stuff and got transported back to Chennai, Bangalore and Trivandrum...take your pick. Need I say more? No. Just go there and you will be as speechless with delight as I was. And don't forget to say hello to they lady and make sure you give her a BIG tip.

Great South Indian Food. Hyderabad represent! We had a blast eating here today for lunch. VEG Sampler and Veg thali and Idli, everything was amazing. Do yourself a favor and explore the great dishes of 🇮🇳 at Satkar Cuisine. Not a robot just a huge fan of their food. Thanks again for an amazing lunch!

Thank you Mohammed A for ur Hospitality. This was our 3rd visit and i made sure i waited to get the name of the staff who was more than efficient each time we visited . He was all smiles and always helpful n quick with his service. I would give 4 star for the food just cuz the chicken biryani we had during our last visit was a miss ! It was extremely oily n slaty. The rest of the dishes we have tried ao far was delicious. The vada sambar was tops the list and so does the pepper chicken. A must try. The naans are freshly made and soft and flavorful.
