Not Your Average Joe's Pizza

*Update* This restaurant is CLOSED PERMANENTLY *********************** Food is great. Real New York style pizza. The best Philly Cheese steak I've ever had. The sauce and the dough are made fresh, on site. Joes even pounds and breads their own chicken for the chicken parm. If you see the smoker going out back, stop in for sure, they smoke pork and brisket and I swear it's better than anything you've ever had! Did I mention they make their own sauce for the pulled pork sandwiches? Grab a slice of you don't believe me...you'll be hooked.

My brother is a local, so I went on his recommendation while visiting. (Then returned the next day!) Custom pizza the first visit (1/2 & 1/2 for 2ppl), then did the 2-slice-&-a-soda deal the next visit. Solid quality each time...though the reheated 2-piece deal wasn't as hot, it was more crispy. Both delicious.

The pizza here was some of the best I've ever had! The crust was thin and had a slight crunch. There was absolutely no grease on the pizza. The kitchen is open and you can see them making the pizza fresh right in front of you. I got two slices and walked away spending $5. The staff was friendly as well. Top notch!

My husband and I are in town this weekend on vacation. We happened to come across this place on Google while searching for places to eat and we are so happy we found his place! I took the time to read some of the reviews and am very surprised. First off no one there came off racist - my husband is Mexican and we were treated with kindness. Secondly, the prices are fair for the great pizza you receive (we were very happy with it!!). And thirdly, based on the reviews that say the workers were rude and gave bad customer service - again, everyone was kind to us and made sure we received plates and napkins as they asked if we were staying in a hotel on our visit. Without us even thinking of needing plates and napkins. So 5 stars for them! Will be eating there again on our next mini vacay

The absolute best, bar-none slice in Tampa. I'm NOT kidding. I can't rave enough about this place. The picture (if it gets approved) of the Calzone and Beer? That's mine. That's the "small" calzone, folks. The large? Get some friends, or make some friends. Shouldn't be hard with pizza this good. They also feature brews from the local (literally down the road) Cigar City Brewing Company. Once a week they fire up the bar-b-cue pit for amazing pulled-pork sammiches. Three thumbs, WAY up! UPDATE (5/7/2016): They're still knocking my socks off with their 'Za, and they've added items to the menu. Just finished my half of the 18in Monster (pepperoni & extra cheese), and I'm now working on some of the tastiest cannoli's you've ever seen. Thanks, Joe's!

Little better than having a number of glasses of fresh beer down the street at CCB, then walk over here about 1am for some 'za. They will have at least 3-4 types ready and waiting for you and some unknown reasons they are only $3 per slice, tax included. A large soda is $1. I ended up eating two slices then getting two more to go. Don't let that allow you to believe they are small - picture 1/4th of a 14" pizza - I am a glutton. I was drunk, and this place rules. Stop in as soon as you can but be sure you are fortified with strong drink first.
