Hungry Howie's Pizza

These new owners are going to take this store to the top!!! Gotta admit food tasted like it was made with such pride. The owner was very hands on the while I was their. If ever in doubt about hungry howies then you should try coming here.. wish it was a buffet so I can try all their different food😁😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰🥰

Nice, clean location. I ordered at the counter and our food was ready right when they said it would be. I went on Memorial day in the evening and they weren't busy at all. Everything was piping hot and looked good. I got a small sausage pizza, it was a bit overdone and an order of wing, my wings were rather spicy; I'm not used to the wings spicy, but they were tender and juicy. My husband also got wings and a mushroom pizza to share with a friend. Our favorite part about ordering from Hungry Howie's- is the Howie bread. It's always so delicious; a little crisp on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. All in all a good location.

Meant to take a picture but ate it too fast. They did a really good job with the slicing and portioning - making sure my meat half was clearly separated from my wife's veggie half. The Cajun crust was soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. My wife also appreciated the fact that this pizza was not as greasy.

They now have a fairly nice app (although Dominos is the gold standard as far as apps go) so ordering carry out is easier than ever with no time spent on hold. They have a rather generous repeat customer program where you get a free pizza after about 4 purchases. The cheese they use tastes nice but lacks a bit in gooey-ness even when piping hot. Really like the ranch crust, cajun isn't as spicy as it used to be years ago (that might be good or bad depending on your preference). All in all, everybody knows these aren't gourmet nor mom-n-pop NY style, but I just can't knock a single star off when the value is so strong at Hungry Howies, plus, they close super late. Even when money is super tight we can afford to get the kids a pizza treat. Really appreciate having them nearby.
