Gold Ring Cafe & Catering

My most recent meal at Tampa, Florida's Gold Ring Cafe & Catering was a complete delight. Our supper was made even more pleasurable by our waiter, Emily, who gave amiable and attentive service. The sandwiches on rolls were without a doubt the highlight of our trip. The Roast Beef and Swiss on a fresh roll that I ordered was a delectable beauty. A symphony of tastes and textures was produced by the delicate roast beef, creamy Swiss cheese, and wonderfully cooked roll. The Turkey and Avocado on a roll that my eating buddy chose was equally outstanding. The avocado provided a nice smoothness, and the turkey was fresh. Sandwiches at Gold Ring Cafe & Catering are indeed a pleasure for the taste buds.

Just wanted to share that I really love the bacon eggs & cheese on Cuban toast and I purchased this often. The problem I experience was when I asked for extra butter and crispy bread that I got push back and was told I needed to tip her if I wanted all that extra stuff. On my next visit they started treating me differently never greet me when I inner like they do other customer and it always seem to be a strain on them to wait on me. On Wednesday 8/23/23 I was taken back even more when the female owner was there and I heard her tell the other worker to wait on me as I was her best friend(being sarcastic ). The worker didn’t realize I heard it and as she turn around and said she not my friend, she was looking in my face. I’m sadden that customer service is a problem for them and I hold no anger toward them. I will continue to visit until they tell me differently.

Immaculate and beautifully handcrafted Cuban sandwiches. Ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg and sausage as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, and double checked to make sure she got our order exactly as we wanted. The place has a nice rustic café vibe. Will definitely be coming again.

The BEST Cuban sandwich (amongst other delicious bests) in Tampa! I don’t care what you say - it’s FAX -100% - thee best. I hit the GR up EVERY TIME I come home to Tampa. ❤️ Those ladies behind the scenes know what they are doing. Yo ‘ the potato ball is also a champion! You’d be STUPID not to try their food.
