Tudor Hotel

Love, love, love this place. Floors of food and drinks. Our party of 15 were on the roof top. Would give 4 stars except the drink selection on top floor limited. Went down to ground floor for fabulous live music. Bar staff were friendly and efficient. Security guy was on the job, always smiling. If I lived in Tamworth, this would be my local. My chicken snitzel was very yummy.

Honestly, where do I start. If there was a zero star out of five option, that’s what I would award this place. The service was average - nothing to write home about, however my concern was predominately based on the completely dismal quality of the meals received. The corn tasted of chicken noodle soup flavouring, the pumpkin salad consisted of half a cold (still semi solid, undercooked) pumpkin with a few bits of leafy lettuce. Some salad….. The chips however absolutely reeked of the cheapest possible, week old, semi burnt oil, a stench so strong even the runny aioli couldn’t compensate and mask the flavour. Not to mention for two starters and two mains it was nearly $90. Not sure if this is the standard quality expected and received at this place, but I can’t say I’ve ever had such a miserable dining experience, all I can say is I recommend dining literally anywhere else. Truth be told I’d rather consume my dogs dinner than be subject to this atrocity ever again. Congratulations for serving up the worlds worst dinner, I’m currently praying for no food poisoning. Had a quick lunch today and really enjoyed it. We sat up the rooftop after staff suggested it. We didn't even know you could do that. Both the staff on today were extremely friendly and welcoming. I had the pumpkin salad with grilled chicken it was very tasty. My partner had a schnitty it was a $15 special and he enjoyed it. We will definately return and enjoy again on a lovely winters day
