Amington Inn

We stopped in after a day in drayton mannor the place was very busy and lots of tables were reserved (which think is a very good sign of how good the place and/or food is) however Amy accommodated the our party of me, my partner and son. I have have to say food was amazing the staff were excellent and I couldn't fault anything. I am very jealous of the locals having such a lovely pub on their doorstep, and would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to call in. Thank you again Amy, your customer service is second to none.

Lovely but busy but nice sections as big and spacious run well but slow to serve would help with another person on shift but again it's never the same volume of clients day to day and certain times can be quieter than other periods also with the costs and income it's very hard to keep afloat however I have always enjoyed remembering the position of overall service with pleasant staff which makes me return to their establishment as it's most important thing for myself just how hard and work load managed by team work is what was noticed so proud of them they have smashed it together hope the boss gets this feedback and values their over and beyond professional with positive energy dealing in all aspects that arised but it's just how their etiquette being unique to other places where you understand employees have been deflated due to employer policy and conduct in line to order and levels set.

Had a lovely two for one meal here mid week in September, chips with nacho chilli sauce and a very filling fajitah. I asked if I could have the fajita for take out which the chef very kindly arranged. Being mid-week just past lunch time, it wasn't busy, plenty of seating to choose from. Clientele weren't rowdy, pub felt homely and welcoming and no "stares" from other customers at an unknown face that had just walked in, which I find you tend to get at some local pubs! Good choice of menu, good value for money. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze (make sure your car has an impressive turning circle!). My visit to this pub was made by the excellent service from Lucy who was both waitress and when no one was available to serve behind the bar, bar tender as well, she was very thorough, attentive and enthusiastic in her work, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to my next visit.
