The service was great really friendly staff, the food was amazing really enjoyed it. The only thing that put me off my dinner slightly was the big mouth sitting on the next table speaking so loudly we could hear about the time she was giving birth, not exactly the nicest conversation to be over hearing while trying to eat your dinner, should have asked the staff if we could move elsewhere i guess, apart from that trauma the restaurant was great lol:)

Traveled from Auckland to Tauranga as my hairdresser moved down there, decided to stop and have a bite to eat and get a drink before catching up with a friend. Totally loved the staff, shout out to the young lady who was talking hair with me, so welcoming and friendly even asked my name to give it a personal touch. Will definitely be back and would recommend. Thank you

We went to The Redoubt last night for dinner. Had chips go a starter, I had the eye fillet and hubby had the fried chicken. Staff catered for him as we had to change his order a little bit. Both meals were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Steak was so tender and melted in my mouth. Staff were also amazing. Sorry, no photos as I ate it too quickly. 🙂 We will definitely be back.

I've been to Reboubt outlets three times in three places - all random visits - all very satisfying. The brand is reliable. The Strand was great. When I arrived, both the waitresses introduced themselves by name which really impressed me. Haven't seen that from hospitality staff in years! The eye fillet was perfect and big enough that I didn't need to order sides. The chef knows what he/ she is doing. The staff were attentive and genuine when they checked on me. That was appreciated. Thankyou for a nice meal.

What a gem. We lucked upon this place while looking for a bar/eatery that was relatively quiet. The food was fantastic and the service the same. The boss was very personable and treated his staff with respect. We discovered an upstairs area as we were leaving which was not initially obvious so don't be put off if downstairs looks full.
