Mumbai Masala Bistro

The food here was crazy delicious and the atmosphere felt real cosy - as was my first time here in Tauranga. The staff give off a family friendly vibe and me and my family were welcomed right as we walked in the door. Honestly, I usually just order butter chicken from indian restaurants but I left here trying 5 other items on the menu and it was worth it 🔥 Thanks Mumbai Masala and keep it up 🙏

We were lucky to visit Papamoa and dine in this newly renovated restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was the best I have ever tasted, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of heat and spice. Lovely atmosphere with gorgeous pictures on the walls. Highly recommend you come here and bring your friends! Excellent prices.

went to Mumbai Masala with my friends. We ask if they have anything special thats out the menu and they recommended “chicken sadeko” which was really great. It goes really good with beers. for the mains we chose chicken tikka masala and lamb pasanda and it was the best. and the service was really good. definetly recommend to you all.

Staff here were amazing, asked for extra sides (not sire what they're called) and were given quite a few. Also when we accidently pulled the table cloth off which resulted in our glass of water flying away and breaking all over the floor, they were still 100% professional about it. Absolutely fantastic service. The food was quite nice and reasonably priced, as well as the beers. Will definitely recommend this place to others and head there again next time I'm in Tauranga!

The food here is absolutely divine. All of our meals were great. Poppadums arrived first, then our drinks, and then our meals with our naan bread. Our meals were a little slow coming out but were very yummy. Got the lunch special, which is such good value. Would really recommend this place for great Indian food.

The moment we entered the building I could already tell that we were going to have a great time. About a minute after we sat down the waiter came to take our order he was extremely polite and gave us a lot of help. The food was amazing and by the time we were leaving we had smiles on our faces this is the most fond I have ever been of a restraunt and hope we will be able to come again.
