Mexico Bayfair

Me & my partner came to this restaurant (unreserved) to try out a new style of food and we were not disappointed. Right from when we walked we were met with a enthusiastic man that led us to our table and gave us great service the entire time. We got the $40pp service and definitely got our moneys worth, the food was filling and blew my partner and i away, my favourite was the guacamole. Definitely recommend and definitely will be coming back!

One hundy we b back here! Easy spot for Rudy. Even though I jumped the gun, and went in to order, Mr Mexico obliged and took my order instead of ushering me away back to our table to wait for service. What seemed like minutes later our meals started arriving. Followed expertly by the “how is everything” happiness check. Then table cleared and further follow up. The best thing, the most crucial thing, the thing that we go for: the food was….outstanding. Fresh. Flavourful. Inventive. Thank you Mexico, we’ll be back!

We both enjoyed our meals. It seemed a little light on staff members, which seemed to keep everyone busy, and service slightly delayed. But the food was wonderful and we'd definitely return when in the area. I might just add, though the food was delicious, it seemed to lack some Mexican authenticity. I can't explain it. Definitely better than the restaurant chain of brothers that sell burritos.

Great service and lovely food with just one issue that let the experience down for a member at our table. The vegetable sides of broccoli and brussel sprouts were great - way to make vegetables delicious! Duck taco, pork belly taco and fried chicken also really good. I was happy with the size of the meals compared to prices and sizes at other Mexican places. Would’ve been 5 stars except a friend ordered the potato chickpea masa taco because it had just 1 chilli beside it on the menu and it was so so spicy it was inedible by anyone at our table. The fried chicken has 3 chillies next to it and everyone could eat it with no problem. So there is something amiss with the seasoning in the vegetarian option which is a shame and hopefully it can be remedied to more accurately reflect the menu.

I had the beef cheek and duck tacos and they were amazing, also had a quesadilla guacamole and some other entree and everything was absolutely amazing, so tasty and with all the right sauces, the guacamole was made to perfection with the right amount of lime and seasoning. Was good to have a taco where the protein was the star of the show just like you will get in Mexico . I will definitely be back next time I'm visiting the Mt. Well done crew. Oh and amazing service also.
