Port Of Subs

This is my favorite place to grab a quick lunch near my workplace. I come here about once a week. I'm giving service only 1 star today for the following reason: a new employee working at the sandwich assembly counter has very long braided hair (down to waist level). As she was leaning over the sandwiches she was preparing, the ends of her braids were dragging across the food. This is gross and unsanitary. Get all your employees to tie their hair back behind their head, wear hairnets, or similar to comply with approved safe food handling practices and I'll change my rating. Updated review - I returned for lunch about a week after I posted the review above. Was pleased to see that all employees with long hair had it tied back behind their heads. Thanks for listening and taking action.

Sandwiches are good, The line gets long during lunch because there aren't many restaurants left open to serve all the business in the area but they have 2 separate ordering lines. The second line is in the back of teh room so it is not immediately visible to patrons when they first walk in. Sandwiches are a bit pricey for what they are but I think that is the way it is everywhere now? I have noticed the employees look sad. Not sure that matters here but I do notice it often and hope it is not the job treatment

Ordered the hot pastrami melt on sourdough with all the toppings. It was so so so tasty! I'd definitely order the same meal again next time. The employees were friendly and made sure to make my order to perfection. The only complaint I have is that the store was slightly too chilly inside, so I ate outside.

Nice little sandwich place! They're always clean, the line usually isn't too long, and the subs are just delicious! They introduced me to putting oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper on a sandwich, and let me just say it's a game changer. The potato salad is literally the best! I highly recommend this place.

Went to Port of Subs on the corner of Washington and Priest Drive on the edge of Tempe. Service was great. Very nice staff there. Asked if I wanted them to clean the slicer and I said yes and it was nice and clean. I ordered the veggie, three cheese and guacamole and it was so good. Nice lighting and ambiance there and not really busy at lunch time. Will go back and have subs from them again.
