Tranquility Tea Room

Fabulous atmosphere! They have wonderful hats to wear during your tea. Beautiful table decorations and china. Service was good, tea tasted great, I had the red velvet. I liked the tea so much that I bought extra to take home. I gave it four stars because the scones and dessert portions were smaller than what I am accustomed to. However, I would go back again with my friends.

Three of us shared a deluxe tea there recently and , as usual, the tea sandwiches were exceptional and everything was perfect. We especially like being able to "choose a hat" from among lovely ones available before starting our high tea -- and taking a picture to commemorate the event. I notice they have a gluten-free tea offered so hope to bring my granddaughter for this when she visits. It should be noted that the tea room is on the second floor in case someone has difficulty climbing stairs.

For thousand oaks this place is great! The deluxe tea was delicious and the servers added a wonderful amount of whimsy to our tea (I took my grandma, sister-in-law, niece, and dad's girlfriend.) The women in charge (owners I presume) were a bit scattered but offered to take our picture so all in all it was a great experience.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Horrible service, RUDE owner & staff, misleading prices & menus online. Literally told “we’re lucky they even let us have tea there as there are so many other people who want our reservation” - ya, because they probably don’t know what a horrible place this is. Serve cheddar cheese on wonder bread as their gourmet sandwiches. Not to mention completely overpriced for what you get. In a day in age when friendly customer service and doing right by people goes a long way, this place chooses the opposite. Save your time & $$$
