Spring Primavera Restaurant

Let me start off my stating if I could give this place 0 stars I would I use to love this place till my last visits. One day I go there with family and they were pretty much out of stock with anything we were asking for and the service has gone down hill. Also another experience I had was ordering a swordfish plate and the fish itself was bad and had a smell to it. I use to work in a kitchen for 5 years and I know how it goes but if I was in a kitchen and we had no product to sell that’s embarrassing and having no good product such as the swordfish. Every time I have a chance to not recommend them or bash them I will because when it comes to food safety I take that very seriously.

Had a similar experience to a previous reviewer. Parked in the parking lot not realizing it was for the restaurant considering 1) it’s proximity to the cafe across the street is closer than the restaurant and 2) not being from the area. My young daughter and I barely walked away from the car when an old woman across the street started yelling and flailing her arms. That’s when I finally noticed there actually was a restaurant by that name - I honestly thought the restaurant didn’t exist because it’s not as noticeable from the parking lot as the cafe. So we promptly returned to the car to repark and the woman not only kept staring and yelling - she proceeded to get backup from inside the restaurant, making sure to point out our car, etc. I guess they had a lot of time on their hands to scream at strangers since the parking lot was otherwise empty. I’ve never eaten here but this very rude experience made my mind up for me that I don’t ever need to spend my money at this establishment. It’s also concerning that the owner decided to respond to the other people who had a similar experience in the manner they did. It seems to me like they just don’t understand how to treat people at all. To the owners - treating people like that will only hurt your business. I think it might be a good idea to update the signs in your parking lot to note the location of the restaurant? It’s a suggestion based on my experience - not that you have to take it, but if you’re having this problem enough to be annoyed enough to scream at strangers, you might have to find other ways to communicate the parking situation.

My friend and I recently had lunch here as it was recommened as an authentic Portuguese restaurant. Along with a fresh salad, she had the Littlenecks Steamed in Garlic Sauce and said it was delicious. I chose the Grilled Chicken Kabob with steamed vegetables which was also delicious. We couldn't resist the flan and chocolate mousse for dessert, which was made from scratch.Our server was very friendly and attentive. We had a positive experience here. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good Portuguese cuisine.

My friend and I had a very scary and upsetting experience with this place. We were going to the cafe across the street. There are two parking lots on either side of the cafe. One is for the cafe, one is for this restaurant. We accidentally parked in the restaurant lot as we simply saw the cat cafe sign. When we got out of the car we saw the restaurant only parking sign and turned back to move our car. As we were turning around, a strange man began belligerently screaming from the restaurant. I turned around, petrified to see a man flailing his arms and walking quickly towards us. He was enraged, and almost incoherent. All I know is I heard the term “tow” multiple times. We were essentially frozen in shock for a few moments, but when realization kicked in we ran to our car as he continued coming closer. Bear in mind we are both young women, being confronted by an extremely irate, screaming man. It was very scary. To be clear, I am not bothered by the parking, this is about the uncalled for verbal abuse we endured over a PARKING SPACE. Based on other reviews, it’s likely this man is the owner of the restaurant, although it seems his main function is to verbally harass people who park in the wrong lot? It’s seems he is known for having a very “entitled bully” attitude, and responds to these complaints in that manner. So you can save it on this one, I won’t be reading the response as it is clear you never feel you’ve done anything wrong. Just know that this is not normal behavior and not how to speak to people. I recommend anger management. That’s not me being snarky, I genuinely believe this man has issues that need to be addressed. Do better!

Extremely rude owner/manager! We were trying to visit the cat cafe across the street and accidentally pulled into his parking lot…which is across the street and right next to the cat cafe. We got out of the car, saw a sign that indicated “restaurant parking only,” realized we were in the wrong place, and stood at the edge of the lot as we scanned the street for the correct spot to re-park. The owner/manager then ran out the back of the kitchen and started shouting at us to get out of his lot. I acknowledged that we were in the wrong lot and told him we were leaving. Rather than pointing us in the right direction or simply acknowledging that we we’d made a mistake, he kept coming at us and screaming, “Move! That’s my lot! Move right now or I’m towing your car!” He made a total scene out of a simple mistake that we were trying to correct. And his lot wasn’t even full! I would NEVER give my money to someone so explosive and unkind.
