Cora's Breakfast And Lunch

Convenient location. Clean. Quick service. Broad menu ranging from traditional breakfasts to modern healthy breakfast, like smoothie bowls. Almost all plates come with fresh fruit. There's even a menu for teenagers (and kids). Downfalls: I find it pricier than other breakfast places. And if you're a vegetarian, they don't discount the price for you not having sausage or bacon.

This is a really good place to get your day started when you are a tourist. You get a big variety of breakfast you can get here, that also range from small to really big and heavy. The big ones are really good if you're going to be on the go all day when sightseeing. With this the breakfast kept us going past lunch time, so we had more time to visit different things in or around the city. And given the amount you get and the price you pay the food is good. Last but not least they have plenty of space, so you don't feel weird with all your jackets, bags and backpacks when leaving afterwards for your little adventure of that day.

I am a regular at Cora at college station. I have been going there for last four years. The manager is a lovely lady and always welcoming. The people who work are great and lovely. It is a go to place for my wife for breakfast. The French toast is just so delicious along with the pancakes. The crispy potatoes are awesome. Great place to have breakfast.

UPDATE: January/2019. Check out their large burger with soup or salad for lunch. A great filler for a good price. Comes with fresh lettuce, tomatoes & onions. UPDATE: August/2018. Breakfast for two and my friend orders the Western Skillet. I hadn't tried it so of course I had to give it a try...and glad I did. This dish is amazing. You will get flavour upon flavour. I had it with a soft poached egg but that is your choice of course. *** When a restaurant with a Québec pedigree, boasts of their crepes, one expects something better than a rubbery piece of lord knows what. Yes fresh fruit but so what! And the cretons are a thing of the past. On the other hand, the restaurant is a bright open space (perhaps too bright in the early AM) with lots of seating, clean floor, a fully accessible street level front entrance, an open kitchen and friendly, expedient Staff who all possess super human memories. Tasty wedge potatoes and coffee. Even the decaf cannot be faulted...for decaf that is. Give the mild tasting Cholula hot sauce a try. Absolutely delicious and well balanced. Perfect little kick at breakfast time. Large groups can easily be accommodated but a heads up call would be appreciated and reservations are possible. No WIFI.
