The best! One or my favourite places in Toronto. I can’t believe there are any less than perfect reviews. The menu is always interesting and seasonal. The staff are professional but are all so friendly that they make you feel at home. I’ve had some amazing meals there and simply love love love the restaurant.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS AMAZING RESTAURANT! And love Alida! She is such an amazing lady and chef! To watch her make our dinner and to have her welcome us into her restaurant was thrilling! The food was outstanding (try the fried pizza dough) , the service ..impeccable and a must try! You won't regret and we love watching Alida on The Food Network! Thank you for the hug Alida! Xo

Amazing experience, we loved everything about this place. Starting from the fact that the owners is there cooking and comes to greet you with the warmest smile. Very lovely lady and talented chef. We can see her passion in all her dishes. My favourite was the bruschetta and the pasta. I rarely order pasta in restaurants when I’m in Canada but that the day the pizza oven was not working properly, so I tried pasta. Buonissima. One of my favourite in Canada, and you can trust me, I’m Italian! 🥰

Our meal was superb. it had been so long since we had been out like that so I asked a friend for a recommendation for authentic Italian as a good friend was in town and I had a bottle I wanted to uncork with a good meal. Unexpected, unassuming ambiance and execution turned into a magical night on a rainy Wednesday. we had eggplant meatballs, deep friend mushrooms, Boar ragu pasta, Sage Gnocchi (which I now understand needs to be made with potato that has been out of the ground long enough to lose moisture) Short Ribs, Fennel Sausage, a cheese plate for dessert. The cocktails are proper, the wine list will impress someone who knows wine, the food is memorable. At todays prices, go here before you go someplace average for close to the same money and you wont be disappointed. Next time I try the pizza because the bread with the meatballs was insane. Did I tell you the owner lived in Tuscany for 8 years? Such a gracious and engaging host.... I can't say enough
