Lekker - Pure Belgian Bites

Great little Belgian waffle place. I had the pleasure of discovering them when they opened and had a different name. The Belgian owner himself had prepared my waffle back then, which was delicious. I came back recently and sat on their front patio. They also have an indoor seating area. They now offer both savoury and sweet options. I had their brésilienne waffle (vanilla ice cream, caramel, peanuts and whipped cream). The waffles are made fresh to order and come pretty quick. If you pay cash, you get a small discount. The food was very good and enjoyable. I really liked how the different ingredients got along really well. The only thing is that I had wished that my waffle had been crispier and it was more on the soft side. But I would definitely come again for more.

Randomly stumbled across this while walking around Kensington market for the first time. Very delicious waffles, nice and crispy outside but soft as a pillow on the inside. The dessert as a whole was very light, not heavy at all which made it even better. I got the Cupido which contains strawberry, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and dark chocolate. Highly recommend LEKKER!
