The Fox On Bay

Decent restaurant. They have a small menu. However, after COVID, this appears to be the norm. I ordered Steak Frites. The order was ready pretty quickly. The service was excellent. The staff were on top of everything. We got there late so not many people were inside eating. Many were sitting at the bar having drinks. Overall, this is a good place to eat.

This place has really stepped up after COVID. The prices seem high at first but compared to what comes out, it suitable. We took advantage of the bartenders choice beer special which was a lot of fun and cost effective. It's the whole gamut though so if you are choosy don't complain if you get something you don't like. For us it was perfect. We had burgers mainly and they were Delicious..we also had wings and meatballs. The meatballs were very good. You get four in sauce and we shared them. The cajun dusted wings were crispy and delicious but maybe could have used a touch more salt. We want for lunch on a Tuesday and the bartender was kind and funny.

Although the covid pandemic is ongoing, we were able to secure reservations to have lunch. The setting was sufficient and customer service was amazing. Our waiter did his best to delight us with customer service and he exceeded my expectations. Really happy we chose The Fox, as I am sure to visit again.

Came here for a team lunch. Waiters were friendly and attentive. I had the fish and chips. Big piece of battered haddock and fries with a small portion of coleslaw, tartar sauce, and ketchup. Tasted great. Wish it came with a bigger portion of coleslaw though. They have a patio facing the street too which is nice to sit at in the warmer months (we sat indoors, but will be returning in the future). Next time I want to try their: mustard glazed salmon, or meatball hero.
