Mike's Fish & Chips

A small and rustic eatery located in the Danforth lane just ahead of Kia showroom and nearby to the subway. The place is for the people who are looking for quick but heavy meal. Mike's place is one of the oldest ones around the corner. You could also validate via black and white pictures hanging up on the walls. If I remember it right, its been running since 1969. The food is great. I and my husband ordered Haddock Fish and fresh fries chips as well as Chicken Burger. Big portion and hearty meals! That's what I would call it. The service is great and pretty fast given the fact that it was only one person doing everything. The best part is everything is being served. And I found special love for the dips. Have your way when next time in Danforth!

Amazing staff and service. The food is also top notch. I was greeted very warmly when I went in. Got the halibut fish and chips. Brought to my table, fresh and piping hot. The fish was very crispy, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. The fries were also crispy and delicious. I was asked about my meal at the end and he seemed very pleased to hear good things. Overall a very positive experience and awesome food, will definitely go back.

Right off the Danforth, Mike’s Fish & Chips is an East Danforth/York staple. Traditional Fish & Chip shop on the Danforth that my partner and I have been going to for years! They even offer burgers, but they’re just ok, but I don’t come here for the burgers. Quick & speedy service, always on time on pick ups. 10/10 would recommend

I was in the area and figured I get some fish and chips. I tried the halibut and chips. Together, it's a little pricey, but I didn't mind as the fish was pretty good and so were the chips. Overall, pretty good first experience at this restaurant. It's a small restaurant with capacity for roughly 10, with each table seating 2, so probably not an ideal location for large groups, but from what I see, you should be able to grab a seat if you're a small group of people.
