Yogurtland

Decent place, simple yogurt, something to go to if you're around. A plus of this Yogurtland is that it has a bathroom, which some don't have. Place is clean, service is decent. Great variety of yogurt and toppings. However, if you get a big bowl with lots of toppings, the price adds up, and they you're better of going to Creamistry, across the shopping center.

Because I avoid sugar (most of the time), I was happy to find a no-sugar-added option (Vanilla), at Yogurtland in Crossroads, Torrance. But it was disappointing to find ONLY ONE no-sugar-added option. I just topped my soft-serve yogurt with big fat blackberries that, unfortunately, were not so sweet. But it was still good. They've got a whole slew of toppings for those who prefer sugary food...

They have a variety of desserts ranging from ice cream to cakes and pastries, but they're mostly known for their macaron ice cream sandwiches ($5). Pretty expensive, but worth it considering the price of macarons and ice cream separately. My favorite is the Thai tea, but the grasshopper is also a popular one for mint chocolate chip lovers. There's usually a long line and not much seating, so be prepared to wait. This clean and bright dessert parlor may not be a frequent go-to, but it's definitely worth a visit if you've never been before! Random fun fact: My friend has notified me that the blue velvet cake is delicious, but makes your poo green. Happy yelping! (:
