El Pollo Loco

Today, July 11 @ 9pm I placed an order of 8pc chicken and the lady manning the cashier didn’t issue an official receipt. When I inquired, she said their cashier machine is broken and was angry when I reminded her that it’s illegal to conduct business in CA without issuing a receipt. She even challenge me to file a complaint instead of being sorry for the inconvenience. That lady cashier should be fired!

2/8/22 - placed order #1531 in drive thru @ 6:04 p.m. I was asked to pull over and wait at curb so I would not hold up the drive thru line. Ordered 8 burritos, all the same kind and 2 taquitos. Asked the worker to confirm the order when she brought order to my car. She responded everything is in the bag. Got home, taquitos missing, made multiple attempts to call Store #5544, conveniently no one answered the phone and the Destination mailbox is FULL. Second time I was shorted. Inconvenient to drive back and wait in line again to hear insincere apology. Will contact corporate to report poor business practices!!

This location is terrible. They've never successfully fulfilled my order to the way it was ordered. Got a quesadilla for my daughter today and there was no melted cheese inside. Just tortilla and unmelted shredded cheese. There's another one on PCH and Normandie that's much better. Save yourself the hassle and don't order here unless you enjoy paying for disappointment.

This place was messy and uninviting, seems like they haven't clean the dining room after a lunch rush, but it was pass 4 pm. Management, there was a full crew behind the counter. All trash bins over flowing, trash in tables, floor, bad for business. At least the chicken tortilla soup was worth the long waiting, with only 1 person ahead of me!

Update 5/5/22 I will have to stop going to store 5544 on Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance. They justcan't get it right. Last night I ordered a Pollo bowl combo and they didn't include my salsas. On March 13 I ordered a family meal and they didn't give me any tortillas. 2 of my last 3 orders from their app has been wrong. This past visit i only ordered a pollo bowl combo with customizations, but when i arrived home I noticed it was customized. I was given a regular bowl. A few visits ago I ordered a family meal on the app with the salsas i wanted. When I got home there were No salsas!!!!! They are filling these and not paying attention to the complete order. I wrote about my visit to the company and never heard from them!!
