The Shawarma Factory

It was a pretty cool Wednesday night and I came to the coin laundry right next door at 9pm . I see this place open which is quite odd since they're not open as often. I walk in and its empty (obviously its 9pm and everyone in torrance is sleeping or something) I asked for a burger and damn it was great. Juicy and everything tasted fresh. I'm going to have to come back to actually try their other items. Great place overall.

This marks my 3rd time coming here! I love there pita sandwiches because that’s what I normally get to satisfy my appetite. I still wanna test out there other options they offer. The one I usually get is the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. (Pita sandwich) very delicious ! The staff is really generous and nice! I definitely recommend it ! everything is fresh and food quality is at its best !

Visited here with my son for a Monday dinner. There was only one other party apart from us in the restaurant when we ordered our food and sat down. From our table, we could see the lone gentleman, who took our order, working on our food as well. There was no other person helping in the back, which became a minor concern. He moved slowly, but I assumed that he was focusing on quality. We noticed the other party of five had not placed their order yet and about 10 to 12 minutes had passed, since the gentleman had come out of the kitchen. I looked at the time as it seemed to be taking a while to prepare a gyro sandwich a single beef kabob plate. I looked at my ticket and the time stamp read 7:06 pm, and it was now 7:25 pm. It was clear by that time that this gentleman would be playing the part of cashier, cook, server and busser this evening. By the time we got our food, the time was 7:36 pm - it took a full half hour, which is severely troublesome for an establishment called (as my 11 year old son pointed out) "The Shwarma Factory." We were just glad that we had put in our order before the party of five, otherwise we may have had to camp out. All in all, the food was not bad, but we won't be going back any time soon, until the kind gentleman and/or the restaurant obtains more help to cover a dinner crowd.

This is the new Mediterranean food spot in Torrance and it's the perfect place to grab healthy lunch or dinner without breaking your wallet. Almost everything is under $10 and the portions are awesome for the plates and salads! Their Gardena location was awarded on the top ranked restaurants to try in 2016 so their food is def bombbb. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma plate with spicy hummus and house salad. The plates come with a bed of rice with your choice of proteins with 2 cold sides. The lamb shank is also a great option with huge portions! My bf got the two lamb shanks and they were super tender. I also like their white sauce that you can dip in the meat. I also really liked their Greek salad which is a good size and you can add a protein of your choice for a just a few dollars more. Don't forget to check in for a FREE bomb pistachio baklava and try their house black tea! The tea is made with real sugar with mint. So bomb! I highly recommend this place as a healthy satisfying lunch/dinner option.
