Grand Traverse Pie Company

I think we ordered the pie first. Then our chicken salad sandwiches. Chicken salad with dried cherries and grapes on a nice soft croissant. A cherry pie and a four berry pie were our pie selections. @gtpie This place is like Panera but with pies. food was average to good, the chicken salad could’ve used some more grapes and cherries I think I only found one or two in the whole sandwich. The pie was super sweet which might’ve been how it was supposed to be but really really really sweet. The High Point was the blueberry applesauce. Great flavor combo nice surprise. If I could do 3 1/2 stars I would’ve done 3 1/2.

Friendly customer service. Pies are always fresh and taste very good. Current prices are very good. $12 for a large pie and $5 for mini pie. Pies are well worth the original price, even better that it's less. Unfortunately, Troy location is closing which is the reason for reduction in cost. Will definitely be missed.

Sometimes you have a hard time explaining why something is as good as it is because it's the total experience that makes it. The food is really good. The pie (at least Cherry and Blueberry) taste so pure. You'll know when you take your first bite. You'll know when you're standing up to leave and you are thinking about when you have time to stop in again. Next thing you know you're ordering 4 pies for Christmas dinner because Grand Traverse Pie Company just became part of your holidays. If you are considering stopping in and you never have before, why wait? Oh the people who work there are really nice. There is one negative: The parking. But name a place in Troy that has great parking?
