Shield's Restaurant Bar Pizzeria

My wife and I just happened to stop here for lunch to eat on the patio. The pizza was amazing, but the atmosphere and specifically our server Rich was incredible. He was charming, attentive, and most importantly a pleasure to be around. He even stopped what he was doing and insisted he take a picture of my wife and I with her phone simply because “Life is good guys”. Life is good with people like you around Rich. Thanks for everything!

Ordered the Super (5 items) and it tasted "OK", but it was far from the best pizza I've ever had. The antipasto salad was good with a lot of premium ingredients and the beverage selection was good. The menu is extensive with plenty to choose from besides pizza, and they're always running specials and have coupons so value is not a problem. The facility is comfortable and the service is great. Our server, "Leslie", did a great job and made sure that our dining experience was issue free.

Had a small party there. Great waiter and a very spacious room. The pizza was amazing (square pizza with thick crust, tasty sauce and fresh toppings) and we had salad that was very fresh. They kept replenishing the beverage pitchers. Would definitely go there again for dinner and keep in mind for a party.

We recently hosted a party and the staff provided excellent service and was very accommodating. Their extensive menu was helpful for many of our guests and everyone was very pleased with the evening. I will definitely come here again. Also, can't forgot to mention the Manager Kelly was awesome to work with!

We used Shield’s Troy/one of their banquet rooms for my son’s grad party earlier this month. Everything from the room reservation process months before, to them sending me pics of the room so that I would know how to decorate/where, to them assuring me that our guests would have plenty of food/drink throughout the party without me having to worry about it—they were wonderful. Special shout out to Rich, literally one of THE best service professionals we have ever had the pleasure of encountering, and his partner Jules, who was also phenomenal. A great experience!!
