Picnic Garden Buffet

Had them for the first time yesterday - honestly was the BEST Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. The flavor was great, the low mein noodles weren’t overcooked/soggy. The veggies were steamed perfectly and their spring rolls are to die for. My new favorite Chinese place! Looking forward to my leftovers for lunch today.

I am constantly disappointed by this place. As someone who loves authentic Chinese food, I can definitely say it’s not authentic. The cook usually just makes the food however he wants even if it’s not the recipe. The service is terrible and the lady who works there is a tad rude, but she doesn’t mean it, I guess. The spicy beef I ordered was gross, the beef was over cooked, dry and chewy. I literally can’t even eat it. I’m done giving this place chances. Another thing, if you are out of certain ingredients or food, please tell the customer rather than replacing it with a random ingredient. It’s rude to just change the recipe on the menu without consulting the customer first. Stop being so cheap.

This is one of the few places I can garuntee has exquisite food and service. The dishes are always fresh and hot, and the flavours are always extreamly potent. The amount of food you get for your money is almost too good to be true, but it is. I don't know why I don't eat there more often (oh yeah, I'm a broke student...). Additional: one bowl of their hot wonton soup will clear out nearly any cold or minor illness. If you can take the heat.
