Grecian Gyro

Gyro platter was really good. Lots of meat. First time going to Grecian. Got a take out order. Will definitely go back again. Employees were friendly and all had masks on. Hand sanitizer by the registry. Place looked clean enough. Had some initial trouble placing the order. Kept getting put on hold. Called back again and got the order through.

We t through the drive thru for a falafel platter. Service was very friendly, and food was delicious. It was a bit of a wait because of a long line, but worth it. The Greek salad was so fresh, and the dressing was a little salty but good. The potatoes were divine. The falafel was good, a little too gritty and overdone on the outside for me, but still flavorful. The sauce was excellent. Generous portion that made two meals for me. I didn't try their desserts but was intrigued by the banana Nutella split. Will definitely be back!

I visited on a Saturday and I gotta say I loved this restaurant. I agree with some people that the pricing seems a bit off (the gyro I ordered was a deal, but making it a meal nearly doubled the price?). It all evens out overall and I love that I could get just a gyro for such a cheap price! The food itself, excellent. The balance of meat to veggies and sauce was perfect and those Grecian potatoes....ugh...so tasty. Definitely a place I will revisit when I'm back in the area! I'll preface by saying, I'm from Northwest Indiana, food there is great and have set high expectations. I ordered a gyro plate, and a lemon ice cream desert (forgot the menu name). The desert was superb. Would highly recommend. The gyro plate left a lot to be desired. The cost of the plate was what I expected but the portions nowhere near what I'm used to, I feel I overpaid for what I received based on experiences back home. The taste of the food was average at best, again questioning why the premium pricing. I've only ordered the one entree item so I won't write off the restaurant yet. I'll update after my next visit.

The food and the portions are a 5/5 however the restaurant lobby could use a cleaning. Otherwise everything I tried was delicious and cooked to perfection - a sear on the sausage (and a lot of them included in the wrap!) perfectly soft Pita bread and a fresh salad. A must-stop but I'd recommend the drive-thru.
