TLDR: Avoid the location and if you must eat there, don’t place an order online because they won’t follow it if you modify anything.
I’ve placed numerous orders at this location. All via online or their app. In at least 4-5 occasions the person making the sandwich did not follow my requests. Nothing extravagant. Simple things. No tomato. Add mustard. Add dijon. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Today was the last straw. I ordered online. Whoever made the sandwich ignored my requests completely and followed the normal recipe for the sandwich. Again, I didn’t ask for anything extravagant as usual. EZ on the tomato and lettuce. Add dijon and mustard. None of this was followed.
To make matters worse, when I opened up the sandwich I found a hair on it. In the ages of masks over faces and always needing gloves and hairnets with food handling, you would think this wouldn’t happen.
I called the store and spoke to an associate. I asked for the manager and she said, “I can help. What’s wrong?” I explained what happened. She then say, “Oh, do you want to speak to a manager?” Ma’am, this is who I asked for from the start and you acted as if you were the manager or were apart of the leadership team. You aren’t though. She passed the phone off to a gentleman who identified himself as “Ray”. I repeated myself…to Ray. As if it mattered, Ray asked what color the hair on the sandwich is. It was small, slightly curly, and black. Ray then went on to tell me they have a time limit to make the sandwiches in so they rush at times and like all humans can make mistakes. Unacceptable. The order prints a ticket to follow to make the sandwich. You cannot justify to me that paying customers should be casualty’s off a Jimmy Johns time limit to make sandwiches. Not being able to make a sandwich in the given time is either a training or a staffing issue. Not a customer issue which Ray tried to make it for me. As I was explaining the situation and my disappointment, Ray decided to stop listening and over talk me. I politely froze Ray mid-interruption to explain I wasn’t finished and he was listening to respond and not listening to understanding my frustration. I finished speaking without interruption. Ray then agreed the hair was unacceptable. Ray proceeded to offer me a store credit for a future in-store order. I declined. I advised I won’t be returning. To this location or any others in the future.
Why would I patronize a place that tried to tell me they don’t have time to follow my order correctly? He basically was saying if I’m not there to supervise the order being made their is room for error and health issues by not wearing hairnets. Spend your money elsewhere.
Before you corporate replies like they did with others, no I’m not filling out a form for the owners. I’ve said my piece. The owner can come here to read it if they care to turn their store around. It isn’t my job to fill out a form to make it easier on you.

I order from this specific Jimmy John's a few times a month and am always impressed by the level of service! One time I was bummed because it said on the app that turkey wasn't available which goes on my regular order. I ordered something different and when I got there, I mentioned it to Devin and he was able to change my order and said there must have been an issue with the app. I was thrilled to have my regular Beach sub! Thank you Devin I really appreciate you going out of your way to make my lunch perfect!

“We’re only accepting carry out and online orders.” The very nature of this restaurant means that this basically translates to ‘staff is too lazy to wipe down tables after you eat’.
0 reason your dining room can’t be open. All 5 tables in it. Never mind who would want to sit on it because you always have the music turned up like it’s your personal nightclub.

Placed an order at 12:57pm. Got a call stating that they were out of bread, and didn't end up getting our delivery until 2:04pm. Ok fine, I can live with that. After opening up my lunch, I find the sandwich I received was incorrect. It happens, no big deal.
I give the store a call asking for a refund on the incorrect sandwich. The manager Ray refused, instead stating they would make a new sandwich and send it to me, but I have to give them the one I've already partially eaten... such a waste of food! Maybe I'm being silly but I think it's bad business practice to refuse a refund on an incorrectly prepared sandwich, and then turn around and make a new one only to demand the old one, that will surely be tossed in the trash 🤷♂️
End of rant.

Placed a mobile order first thing in the morning. I live 20 mins away and figured hey that’s plenty of time. Needing to pack a lunch for a work outing on the river today I figured this was a great choice; ya know since they are freaky fast. Well I walk in and was told that since the employee showed up late that he is just now baking bread and has nothing set up for the day. If I had time to make other plans I would instead I am sitting here wasting time that I need to be at work. If you open to the public and to mobile orders at 10:00 you should be ready to do so. Very disappointed. If this was the case why not disable mobile orders?!?

It doesn’t matter how big the order is, every time I ask to cut my sandwich in half, they dont!! EVER!!!! IM TIRED OF RIPPING MY SANDWICHES FROM THIS PLACE IN HALF!!!!!

I was at work alone so I couldn’t leave my job. So I placed an delivery order with them and it took 1 hour and 15min to make my delivery. When I asked would there be any kinda credit for the slow service the person on the phone laughed and said for what?

Devin and the staff at Jimmy John's on Lavista Rd., in Tucker, catered a meal for the Murphy High School class reunion/meeting on Saturday, May 14th. The sandwiches were fresh, absolutely delicious! The packaging and presentation of this meal by Jimmy Johns made our event fabulous! We are sending a big thankyou to the staff and to Devin for your professionalism and great customer service in handling this catering job.! We enjoyed every bite! Thankyou!
