Ordered a cake online they said they had on hand for a birthday. Showed up to get it and not only did they not have it, but no one bothered to call me and let me know or give me any other options so when I got there all they had were flavors I knew he wouldn’t like. So, not only was I not given the option to go somewhere else because no one called me, but now I was stuck getting a cake I knew he wasn’t going to like. Thanks cold stone. 🙄. Definitely won’t be coming here again. If your ordering for an event or party, order from a place that will actually notify you if they can’t fill the order and not put you in the bind they put me in. 1/24/22

I don’t think I’ve ever written a one-star review, but this has to be said. While this location has good ice cream, there is something to be said about customer service. I have ordered custom birthday cakes from this location on two occasions. The first time, I arrived at the scheduled time and they hadn’t even begun to make the cake. They couldn’t locate where my order was and were rude the entire time, rolling their eyes and making it feel like it was a chore that they had to make what I had paid a week in advance for. I didn’t say anything, thanked them and left. Six months passed and I decided to give it another shot for my wife’s birthday. The same thing happened. I had my sister go in to pick up the cake for the surprise party, and she called me to tell me that they hadn’t even started to make the cake. They had ample time to fix the mistakes they made on that first occasion after it was brought to light, but they refused to do so. When you make a mistake, take responsibility and do what you can to make it right. Be respectful and courteous. I understand that staff is hard to find right now, and if it’s a system error, I do not blame the employees for this oversight; it is management’s poor leadership and inability to accept responsibility that is to blame. For this reason, I would not recommend ordering from this location.

I have given this place too many chances and been incredibly disappointed every time so I feel I must say something... I have been a customer here for years and every year it seems to get worse. I have close friends who's family members work here and the stories they tell me about management are horrific. These management flaws are so obviously seen in their everyday business. The rude employees who don't even acknowledge a customer's presence are a direct result of poor training. The "manager"- I put this is quotations because she seems to have no qualifications- is rude and quite frankly, unsanitary... no one in food handling should have acrylic nails, they harbor far too many germs. I have seen this manager wearing open toed slippers, another way she is unsanitary. A year ago I could order my favorite ice cream and trust it would be made correctly, but now my order is never made right. I order the same thing every time and every time it is made differently. This establishment used to be a fun and family friendly environment, but it has only gone downhill. At this rate, if a change isn't made, I am positive this location will be reported and closed soon. It's sad to say, but it's just the hard reality. So, no, I do not recommend Coldstone Creamery at the Twin Falls location, but I hope that can change in the future.

i was very disappointed about the service here. it is extremely unsanitary and the person who i believe is manager does not wear gloves. i normally would not be bothered by this but she has super long acrylics and it is very unsanitary. everyone else working at the time was very safe and i was very impressed but the girl who was not wearing an apron who had black hair was very rude and extremely bad at serving.
