Depot Grill

Passing through twin falls on our road trip and found this local gem and wow the food was amazing. The steak special my hubby got was the best steak I've ever had from a restaurant my dad isn't the chef at. The fish and chips was amazing, the tarter sauce was some of the best I've ever had. The cheese omelette and hash browns were delicious that our family member had. Portions were big, we have plenty of leftovers for dinner later tonight.

Ever since we moved to the armpit of Idaho, we started searching for one small beacon of light to offset the sheer pain of being stuck here in Twin Falls. The Depot is that beacon. Prompt, and attentive servers. We all have bad days, we all go through death, divorce, fights on the home front. Whatever. It’s life. As much as we’ve been here? One would expect to see some element of home-front strife in any of our assorted servers. You’ll see it in some of my other reviews. Life happens, and it occasionally manifests on your server. Never. NEVER, has that been here. Always cheery. Always courteous. Always smiling. Happy to see they’ve made 100 years, and I don’t doubt will be a main stay for another 100. Oh food? Yeah man. Wow. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had. They’ve got it down. Light, fluffy, Gravy is perfect. None of the “glue like” texture that all too often happens with that dish. My kids pancakes today were off the hook. Pics to follow. These guys nail it on all facets. Edit 8:23 (?) Showed up with most of crew in tow. Sarah knocked it out the park. Food was on point. Service better. Thanks guys.

Great little place for some of the best food at a terrific price. The chicken is delicious, well worth the wait. Didn't take advantage of the daily special this time but definitely will our next visit. Oh, excellent friendly service as well. Samantha was very helpful discussing the various items on the menu. 6 stars!

Delicious meat loaf today with mashed a potatoes, gravy, veggies. Fruit salad might be better as a separate side dish instead of crammed on same plate as main meal. Samantha was a super server, very attentive, fun, and efficient. Overall loved this trip just as much as many before, great place! 7mar22= another great brunch at depot grill, very attentive staff, yummy veggie omelet, wheat toast.
