What a wonderful local delight. As authentic of a baked sweets selection as you can get, this bakery is definitely a small gem in the neighborhood. Empanadas, bread pudding and bread with butter (pan con mantequilla) with a cup of Cafe Con leche, you're good to go! And they accept mobile payment methods (awesome).

Wow! Cheese and Guayaba. Pastelitos are very good. Ham croquetas are very, very good! My husband loves the Coffee. Highly Recommend La Gran Via Bakery.

This place use to be the place to get great appetizers and desserts however today has officially made this place a garbage place to go to. My mother went and pre ordered and paid in full for a cake for my father's birthday today. She goes to the place today to have it picked up when she was told they don't have a cake for her. Not only did they not have the cake, they couldn't accommodate a new one. The staff were nasty and disrespectful. They don't care what happens, they know they are always busy and don't care to resolve an issue with a long time client. Some advise, keep treating your customers disgusting and soon you will have no business.

Old school Cuban bakery makes rocket fuel coffee that will keep you going all day. Everything is always fresh from the cuban bread to the pastry's. Lots of energy going on as it very popular in its area.

The best Pastilles guava con kase! We have a weekly ritual of going there and getting the pastilles for the weekend. Highly recommended. Other items are alright too but Pastilles is the best!

Just called to place a phone order for a party we are having .
I have been going to this bakery since
I was a kid, moved to south jersey 15 years ago my family both travel there just to
pick up deserts and bread and Spanish sodas , everything you can’t find in South Jersey.
last time I stopped at the bakery I found the counter help a bid rude but tossed it up to a busy work day, maybe!!
Now i call to place a large phone order an this
woman answers the phone I said good morning i’m calling to place an order for Saturday, she rudely says “You know you have to pay with CC right”!!! i replied i never said i wasn’t paying with a CC..she said hold on then and slams the phone..she sounded aggravated I was calling!
I remember as a kid i loved this bakery , as a young adult also..Kept going back now with the grandchildren, never again..
I wasn’t expecting to just walk in and pay cash for a $200 order given by phone ..of course I had the CC ready..
I decided not to give them my business.
I decided to call
another bakery, definitely time to change..
Moving on…

This place used to have the best Cuban bread, now it's horrible, like eating cardboard, however, they do have the best pastelitos.
