I'm not Cuban and would not suggest that I'm a Cuban food expert. I was, however, born in South Florida and raised in northern Florida with frequent trips south and that was often my cuisine of choice when visiting. This is solid fare. Had a good Cuban sandwich, black beans and rice and mango smoothy after paddling across the river from Manhattan on an inflatable standup paddle board and climbing the cliff. Returned the way I came well-fueled for the voyage home.
