Honestly, I don’t see the hype. This is a very basic restaurant with affordable prices. The orange juice was delicious, but the food is just OK. Their salsa for the tortilla chips that you get served as appetizers is very tasty and fresh, but I’ve had better tacos at a food truck. Also to be noted: the restaurant was recently purchased and will shortly be renamed.

Very delicious! I had a chicken and beef burrito 11$ (you can choose couple of different meats with no additional charge) It came with decent amount of Guac and a chip. Homemade salsa is amazing and so is the freshly squeezed carrot and apple juice. 5$ Upbeat/festive music coming from the stylish speaker and genuinely caring services is a plus. Definitely a local gem outcompetes the ones in NYC.

This place is AMAZING. Incredible fresh food. Home made sauces and tortillas. The service is TOP NOTCH and its a great little spot that takes you away into a small village restaurant in Mexico. SUPER FRESH meats. Cozy ambience. The Vampire Fresh Juice was a great addition to our meal. The enchiladas suizas were delicious with a very authentic sauce and my boyfriend had the Steak and Camarones Diabla and he was also BLOWN away. Let’s support great food in Union City. Felicidades a los dueños!!!

Tasty Mexican restaurant...a local favorite, with all the usual Mexican dishes. Owners are very nice and service is excellent and friendly. Everything is made on premises, including the tortilla chips, guacamole and pico de gallo. Support your local restaurants!

Si quieres comida deliciosa y servicio excelente, ve a Piedra del Sol. Ordenamos guacamole , flautas, tacos al pastor y carnitas. Todo delicioso y nos trataron muy, muy bien.
This place is a neighborhood gem. It’s a family owned business and I always feel like they’re so happy to see me when I walk in. I always get flautas and tacos al pastor and they are the best I ever had in the states.
