Churrasqueira Costa Verde

Great spot for Portuguese style chicken along with potatoes, grilled eggplant, rapini and a bunch of other goodies! I got the half chicken with extra sauce and it was delicious, the potatoes were cooked well and usually I am not a fan of eggplant but these guys know how to make them well! Check them out

Been coming here for years and the food and service was absolutely amazing. Been there recently and noticed a huge downfall in terms of quality or service. Chicken did not taste as good as it always did. Order potatoes and by the time I got home the inside of the bad including everything in there was soaked with the sauce (potatos packaging was never closed proberly). I asked for extra hot sauce, I was given two containers and when I asked for more I was told rudely that there is an extra cost of 0.50 per container. An extra 0.50 for hot sauce!!(a condiment). It's not even about the money. But if u will charge people for condiments, the least u could do is fill up the containers and not half way. Very disappointing! Time to look for another protugese chicken place.

First time to try out this restaurant as it is close to my work. Just got ordered through Skip. The sauce was poorly packaged and handled and all over inside the bag. I wish the sauce was at least in a separate bag or better sauce container. Not saying all this was from restaurant but could be how the delivery was handled.

Order ahead of pick up, as this little place is busy. Big orders can delay yours. Usually friendly taking orders, just depends who you get. Food is behind glass, but they cut your chicken right next to the cashier before packing it. Dessert/custard tarts. Overall, good tasting chicken (sometimes dry) with decent side dishes. Recommend.

Just went for the first time on a Sunday afternoon after being on the road since 5am. The restaurant was really busy but the staff were all doing a great job at communicating with each other and providing prompt and friendly service to all of their customers. They were working like a very well organized team. The staff took the time to answer some questions for me regarding ingredients since I have some allergies and they were so paitent and polite even though it was in the middle of a dinner rush. Much appreciated. My husband and I usually travel all the way to Hamilton for our "Just like home" Portuguese chicken & potatoes but looks like we will be adding Churrasqueira Costa Verde to our list of faves! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. You have some great staff, service and food!
