Thai Express Restaurant Vaughan

Visited this location on February 10th 2022 around 6:30pm. Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai... I am so upset. The noodles are so hard. They did not cook the noodles long enough. It's inedible. I understand they were busy. However this is ridiculous. After a long day at work thinking I would just pick up something delicious on my way home. This is a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! Looks good right? But the noodles aren't cooked!

I love Thai Express and it is my GoTo whenever I duno what to eat. However, not all locations are consistent with their cooking. I dun reli need to ask for extra sauce for any other locations but having eaten here before, I realized they are lighter on their sauce when doing the fried rice. So I asked for extra sauce the other day and I was disappointed to be charged extra for something I normally get with regular price at any other locations because they don't cheap out on sauce. Charging extra for extras is reasonable but charging extra for par at any other locations is terrible business.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I came here with my family of five hoping for a decent meal after swimming and the gym, and let me tell you there was something wrong with everyone's meals. The chicken tasted like rubber, the shrimp pad Thai was a heaping pile of saucy trash, and when we tried to get a refund at first the cashier said we can't get a refund and said "maybe you don't like the food because it's from a different country" after some back and forth we got three of our five meals refunded. Moral of the review never go here.

very disappointed with this location. As an avid Thai Express lover, who makes an effort to go to when when I'm out, was quite disappointed with what I received at this particular location. To begin with, the menu here was very hard to read and make sense of. Although I have a good sense of what is on their menu, this location made it quite difficult for me to see what exactly I wanted this particular time. The overall appearance of this location is quite up to par, from both an outside perspective as well as an indoor perspective. It is in a very good location and the inside is quite modern. The food I received, although, was not up to par with the regulatory standards that Thai Express does hold themselves up to. I ordered a pad thai with vegetables, which ended up coming back with way more bean sprouts than noodles. It was practically stir fry with the lack of noodles, as well as the immense amount of sauce turned it into a soup. (see photo below) Overall tasteless food which is very surprising to come from a chain I love with a passion. Please do yourself a favour, and skip going to this particular location, and go elsewhere. This location will let you down and doesn't stand for the quality that the other Thai expresses hold themselves to.
