Mimi's Cafe

Very disappointed in the service. Our waiter was not very attentive & he kept forgetting simple requests. Took long to get refills of our drinks & never came around until it was time for the check. Food was decent, I ordered the French Dip, which was tender, but when the waiter brought our plates the fries were in the sauce. Service needs improvement.

I think this place is going downhill. Service was not good....having to flag down the server for more to drink and the check. The Quiche had a texture that felt like it had been sitting around for a few days. It felt like a bunch of kids were trying to run a restaurant. I think the days are numbered and it won't be long before the homeless will be setting up camp next to the boarded up doors of this forgotten building. There has to be a better choice in this town to enjoy a good breakfast.

I walked in the front door to no one there. Stood for a couple of minutes until someone came around the corner. Finley got seated, 24! "twenty-four" minutes later with no one saying a word, the person who seated me walked by turned around and asked if I wanted something to drink. 5mins later a waitress comes and finally takes my order. 13 mins later my order came. What makes it worse this restaurant was at (at best) 25-30% capacity. Lack of attention and oversight. I hope they get consistently better. Update - Funny I don't realize it but I went to eat here today and it's been exactly 1 year since the last review and I hadn't been back since. To the point, nothing is changed. I didn't have to wait 24 minutes to be seated however the guest who sat behind us complained to the waiter about how no one came to seat them so they just sat themselves. The seats were dirty like garage dirty/dusty, this location is still struggling after a whole yr. I'm really surprised there still here, don't get me wrong I don't wish anything bad on this location. I will say "You can't keep doing the same thing expecting different/better results". Please Mimi's Cafe get it together, get the building overhauled and hire adequate people to run this restaurant better. I will update later hoping to have a better review the 3rd time.
