Harvest Cafe

Stopped at Harvest Cafe for a late lunch after a day at the beach. The food was flavorful and moderately priced. Especially as that all the meals are GF and vegetarian. The only reason for less than 5 stars was that many of the tables were dirty and the wait for food seemed pretty long for being the only people there. Still would likely return!

This is the best cafe in Ventura! Harvest Cafe utilizes organic and locally sourced ingredients. They’re also plastic-free, yay! All the containers, even coffee cup lids, and utensils are compostable (paper). Their house made cashew yogurt & granola is delicious! The vegan grilled cheese and pesto sandwich is very creative. Note that while the cheese isn’t melted which I was expecting with a grilled cheese sandwich, the texture and taste of the vegan cheese is creamy! 🅿️ Free street parking

To all my Vegan and Vegetarian peeps, if you live on the west side of Ventura, I highly recommend to come eat here. There food is fresh, tasty, delicious and great portions. I ordered the Mexicali bowl with the sauce on the side just in case but ended up adding it back on there. They even brought my dog a bowl of water. They have a nice outdoor space for dog owners and are walking distance to the beach, skatepark, bike path, downtown and even the freeway so you can pop in an out . I was recommended to come here by Alfonzo one of their new chefs and he definitely put me on game👏🏻!!! I will be coming back and back and back.
