The Pizza Terminal & Restaurant

Very disappointing experience. We ordered a plain traditional pie and we gave the driver a cash tip. But it wasn't until I saw my CC statement that I noticed the driver added an additional $5 tip to the credit card receipt WITHOUT our approval or signature. When I called to discuss this with the manager, who never got on the phone, the worker told me the manager was only able to offer me a $5 credit. Why we would we accept a credit to put towards another purchase after being deceived like that?! Totally unprofessional and unacceptable management. And it's not about the $5--it's about the principle--their worker stole money and there should be better accountability. In addition, the pizza delivery was over an hour and 15 mins late.

Absolutely terrible experience. Do no order from here. I totally understand delays, being short-staffed, etc., but the rudeness of their staff is unbelievable. After a 1.5 hour wait for our delivery, I called and asked where it was, only to be told it would be here in “5 minutes.” The order did not arrive, so i called 20 minutes later to check in see where the driver was. At this point, I was told “Jesus, didn’t you just call 5 minutes ago!?!”. He then proceeded to hang up on me, so I called back. He hung up on me several times when all I wanted to know was “when” the order would arrive. He wouldn’t even answer my question and hung up on me again, but this time threatened to cancel my order after waiting almost two hours. Do not order from here unless you want to be yelled at and have cold pizza delivered.

We’ve been ordering from here for years….but over the past 10 months we have had lots of issues with the food. Today the entire order was cold (fried calamari, whole specialty pizza, garlic bread, and wrap with fries). Request for sauce on the side was ignored so calamari was soggy. They made the wrong godfather so we received sausage instead of the chicken we wanted. Everything was ordered through the Slice app with concise and specific instructions (I’ve worked in restaurants for 20+ years so I make a point to be specific). A few months ago when I went in-person to order, I waited an hour while people who placed their orders after me were served and sent away with larger orders. I was forgotten and finally addressed after the hour of me waiting, despite having so many employees that they were bumping into each other and they were only doing takeout orders. I was so insistent on getting home because I was in pain so I didn’t check the boxes at the restaurant—I should have because those were wrong too. And these things have been going on for months now. It’s disappointing because we really liked this place but definitely gonna start avoiding it from now on.
