The Guac Spot

Really cute avocado themed spot. We got a bunch of tacos (classic, sweet potato, jurk chicken, bourbon chicken and IPA candied apple pulled pork. The bourbon and IPA were my favorites— like so tasty— but I love how all are topped with Guac and most of these topped with slaw! Pretty amazing for the price in this area. All the staff was really warm and welcoming and made sure that my wife and I were enjoying things and had a good experience. I’d definitely recommend.

This Guac hit the spot! Very easy to find place with the small town charm. It is a small restaurant with large tables by a large window which really opened up the place. Very friendly staff who helped when I asked questions and gave some great suggestions. Even though I came close to closing time, they still provided great service. I ordered the Vegan Baja Fish Taco and a bowl. Cilantro Lime Rice, Apple Jack (Fruit), and Salsa Verde. It also came with black beans. The taco was delicious! A slight kick but not hard enough to overwhelm the other flavors exploding in my mouth. The bowl was wonderful! I love jackfruit for its texture and ability to absorb other flavors and this did not disappoint. I also unexpectedly received a packet of Cholula! I didn't use it, but will on my next order. The Gauc Spot has created food that is flavorful, delicious, and very healthy. Summary- 5 stars and I will be back.

I don't need to help you decide if this place is good because the food really speaks for itself. We have tried everything on the menu. My order is three tacos (shrimp, steak and jack fruit), street corn, quesadilla (plain), hibiscus fresca,, and the cookie. Even though I order that much they have great portions. The burrito bowl you can have enough for two to three meals. You really can't go wrong with anything you order! The only thing, don't order the avocado ice cream. Edit: They removed the avocado ice cream and then for a limited time they had an avocado cannoli and I tried it and it was actually pretty delicious! Now it's gone and I'm sad. I guess it didn't sell enough.

A fusion of Jamaican and Puerto Rican cuisine, John and Syl have outdone themselves with their "Guac Spot" storefront! The menu is so trendy and forward thinking--and the Candied Apple Pork taco is a must. The Signature Avocado Toast is delicious and even served with a real edible orchid on top! Priced reasonably and all items are housemade. Most menu items have vegetarian and even vegan options and almost everything is served with compostable tableware. The ambiance was well-thought out right down to the guacamole-green chairs and take-out bags. Relaxing and chill Lofi-music is played to enhance the vibe of the restaurant. For dessert they have incredible avocado ice cream, avocado chocolate chip cookies, and an avocado cannoli with bacon (yes it was delicious)! Highly recommend this little gem of a place!

I liked it, would definitely go back! Service was friendly and helpful. Menu was a little fancier than your average taco shop. Didn't order ahead but placed it in person. Only took them about 10 minutes to put it together. Kid's taco was good sized and came with guac and sour cream. I got a bowl, apple pulled pork was sweet and tender. The fish tacos were really good too. Had dinner at a nearby community center.
