Steak 'n Shake

This experience is a drive threw order. I ordered menu item #1 a double steak burger with fries and a drink at exactly 11am. No cars ahead of me. At 11:02 the employee took my payment and gave me my drink order. At 11:05 my food came to the window. I did have to ask for packets of Ketchup. The employee was neither rude, nor friendly, just so so. I feel the food came up in pretty quick order. My food order was exactly as I ordered it. Food was hot, and fresh. The Burger was a bit over seasoned or salty. Everything else was good. I had plenty of napkins (6), enough Ketchup packs for the fries (5), and the price was fair $6.30 Pros: Fast service, order correct, fair price Cons: over salty beef patties. All in all it was an okay experience. Nothing special, nothing super negative. Pretty close to US 41 if passing through.

Service was great. There were only a few people there. The dining area was very dirty only a few tables cleaned off. The floor needed cleaned pretty bad. Looked like the shift manager came out and started cleaning after about 30 minutes of us being there. Even she said it was disgusting. The food was good and service was great.

Wow. I really hate to give bad reviews, but here is the deal. This place used to be amazing. But ever since the pandemic, it has gone down hill quickly. The employees are rude and unfriendly, service is so slow (today we waited 23 mins in drive thru), and eating inside is no longer enjoyable. Honestly, this is my last time eating here. It will be worth the drive to go to Culver's across town.
