Dichotomy Coffee & Spirits

The coffee was excellent. Probably one of the best-crafted cappuccinos I’ve had in the area. The atmosphere was excellent as well. My one complaint is that there was no raw sugar. This, to me, is a coffee shop staple. Regular, processed sugar is straight up poison and crafted coffees at the Dichotomy standard should not mix together.

Awesome spot! I work in specialty coffee myself, and dichotomy was not a let down. I went in with my family and our friends so we kinda swamped them - but the baristas were nice and handled it well. They use Apex Coffee Roaster’s beans and they’re pretty good! The bar is actually really clean and classy too. Definitely a dope spot to hangout - and the baristas know what’s up if you want some craft coffee!

Staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was very festive and cute with the holiday decorations, coffee was strong and mixed drinks were delicious! I particularly recommend the “Christmapolitan”, I was skeptical because I’m not a fan of vermouth or cosmos but it was perfectly balanced and soo tasty. Also, the “Jolly Koala” drink comes with a little koala! How fun is that??

This is the best coffee in Waco. The beans are not over roasted, nor are the coffee grounds burned by making the coffee with water that's too hot or adding milk that's too hot. Every time I take that first sip, my response is, "wow, that's good coffee." I learned to like coffee (not added sweeteners and flavors) in South Africa which has very good coffee, including the #1 coffee shop in the world, and Dichotomy lives up to South African standards. If you like good, rich, creamy coffee, this is the place for you. Their old fashions and other mixed drinks are fantastic as well.
