The Catch

Got oyster plate and oyster fish combo…oysters were not fried well!!! Fish tastes like it was fried in old grease. Fried jalapeños were pretty good. Would not recommend. Way too much batter on oysters. Hush puppies were good. Top on red beans was messy. Super disappointed. A waste of $50 and a stomach ache Red beans and rice tasted old..no flavor…kind of tangy…weird Plastic ware just thrown in the bag…it’s 2022…can I get wrapped to go silverware

I've eaten here several times I love the food here. It reminds me of my grandmas cooking when she was alive. The delicious fried fish and the shrimp. You really get your money's worth along with the free beer, margaritas and hurricanes that just makes it a plus. I can't wait for the weather to get nice again I loved dining on the patio enjoying a nice beer and some nice seafood.

Excellent food. We had oysters on the half shell and fried admirals plate. Hush puppies were some of the best that I've had in a long time. Batter was perfect on every thing. Service was fine for the staffing situation. No salt and out of a few drink in the machine; manager ordering issues. Need a place like this in Austin area.

I was very disappointed in this place. My mother and I along with my husband ate here about 2 weeks ago. The fish was very greasy and the fries and hush puppies were cold. There were no napkins at the table and it took us forever to get the attention of someone to get us clean tableware. The food and service was defenently not worth the money we paid.

I visited the store on Valley Mills Dr in Waco Texas. The were customers at two tables and one customer in line in front of me. We waited several minutes in line talking to each other. No one even acknowledged that we were there. Two employee were working the line cooking. No manager in sight. I went to the restroom and can't back and the other gentleman said he had still not even been greeted. We left.

This place has potential but it really needs new management. I’ve been twice, and the first time there, it was hair in my food. The second time, my fiancé gumbo tasted burnt. They were supposed to replace the gumbo for some shrimp but never brought it to us. On top of that, there was a Caucasian woman that went into the restroom with her apron on and came out with it on. We were discussed! The employees really need to improve their presentation. They look sloppy and unsanitary. They weren’t using gloves or hair nets. They’re realty nice people but the staff can really use some improvements.
