Sergio's Restaurant

If you are looking for the standard fare Mexican Restaurant, this is not it. It is better described as serving Central or South American seafood, and it is amazing! The chips and “salsa” were so good that I could have made a meal out of them. The salsa was different than any other I’ve tried and was served like I like it: warm. I had the Taco’s Bistek for an appetizer. It was a smoky tender bite of pure beef bliss, wrapped in a corn tortilla. As far as the main course goes, I was almost full before it came. Huge portion sizes made a to go box mandatory. My wife said her shrimp dish was good, and she enjoyed the house baked bread to dip in the soup the shrimp was flavored with. My grilled red snapper was as good as any I have tasted and will try it blackened next time. This will become one of my regular once or twice a month stop-ins. And it is BYOB, so grab you a bottle of wine, or some good beer to bring with you.

Amazing as always!! You should walk in this establishment knowing you will leave full and happy. Sergio himself is one of the friendliest people and the food is extremely flavorful!! This coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of fish, tonight Sergio talked me into it and im glad he did. Lets not forget his chips and Salsa …also amazing.

They work only on Friday and Saturday nights. That’s the only disappointment! Otherwise, they have THE BEST seafood dishes ever. You just need to trust Sergio and ask him to make you dish. He surprises you every time! Two of his dishes. My husband and I try to make it every Saturday! Chipotle fish and a new dish with Sablefish!

Food was good. It was too quiet. The menu's don't do the food justice. I think with a little background music it would increase the ambiance. The menu's are vague at best, maybe with some pictures of the meal and a better description it would sway my attention. All and all the food was outstanding. I have enjoyed food from the food truck but as a sit down meal it was lacking luster of a great restaurant.

Fresh and prepared as you prefer. The crew that made Siete Mares a favorite of President Bush's Secret Service detail have hit another one out of the park. If you go there for anything other than the Baja-style seafood, you're missing the point. Delicious and affordable, but only open Fri and Sat, so call first.
