The Ranchito

This place is awesome for Mexican food. Super friendly staff, cold beer, and really tasty salsa and chips. Their tall beer arrives in a chilled metal mug which helps keep you beer cold. The chips are thicker than most tortilla chips so it dips really well. And the salsa is chunky but not too chunky. I ordered the chipotle chicken. It was delicious. Fresh avocado, some jalapeños, cheese, a hefty sized chicken breast, and covered with cheese with rice and beans on the side. The chipotle seasoning and sauce was delicious. I wish it were more spicy but I added some extra jalapeños which helped me with that spice craving. The taco salad was good too. The taco was more like a puffy taco which was pretty cool. Fresh ingredients and a nice gob of cool sour cream. I recommend this place to get your Mexican food craving satisfied.

I’ve yet to try something I don’t like. The Al pastor is delicious, and I find myself coming back again and again. Everything on the menu is delicious and the price is such a good deal. I routinely order enough that I cannot finish in one sitting, yet pay under $15 for everything. Their breakfast items are amazing and probably among the cheaper menu items. The tacos are pretty large and always really good with the green sauce. I recommend el Ranchito for the flavor and the value!

UPDATE: the last time I went in there when I went to cash out I was charged an extra $4. I questioned it and they pointed to some writing on the menu that said they had the right to change prices at any time so even though a price is stated on the menu it's probably not what you're going to pay and then I ended up paying cash and they still charged me the credit card price it's unfortunate that this happened because I will never go here again
