Used the Duke's Head for our wedding celebration, and it was wonderful! Very attentive staff, lovely atmosphere and very tasty food! Recommended!

Been here a couple of times and food has always been great. Food a bit pricey but worth it. Gluten free burger is the best I’ve ever had. So nice to have good GF options! Beer garden also really nice

Had a lovely meal here. Food was great and service was brilliant too. Prices weren’t too bad and were understandable for the quality and little touches to the meal.
It was so hot though. It wasn’t an over-hot day but the restaurant was boiling so perhaps something to be aware of if you want to visit on a very hot day, there were also a lot of very small flies crawling over the windows next to our table.
Bar area was nice, drinks were good and toilets clean and pleasant

we stayed here on a two night summer deal. Food was of good quality and well cooked. A great breakfast that set us up for the day. All staff were friendly and very efficient. I'd recommend eating and staying here.

The meals we had on a Sunday lunch were very good and delicious. The 2 men finished their roast dinners, but for the ladies it was too much. The desserts were great.
But the Dukes Head, being part of the Youngs chain, it is expensive to eat and drink. The bottle of wine cost £30 alone.

We had a small family event here and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Great food, seated us perfectly and welcomed our little dog too. Family stayed also in hotel. Highly recommend. Thank you
