This is one of the best sushi places I’ve ever eaten. I am coeliac and this place had basically all their sushi gluten free. I’m talking crispy chicken sushi, and teriyaki chicken sushi. Sushi I haven’t eaten in years cause no stores do it gluten free!! The customer service was off the charts, such a lovely lady ready to answer any questions we had. Also some great vegetarian gluten free options! Highly, highly recommend.

Cute little sushi joint from a cute little sushi cart 🍣 sushi was fresh and cold, which was no small feat in the Wanaka sunshine.

I'm usually very picky about sushi quality (ate my way through Japan for a month) but this was outstanding. Very fresh ingredients, good rice seasoning and texture, amazing seaweed salad. Reasonable pricing. We had to go back for seconds. Make sure to get there early in your day to have more options as we went towards the end of the day and couldn't get as much as we would've wanted. The owner is an absolute sweetheart.

I'm a big fan of sushis and i went to a lot of sushi places all around New Zealand. I can say that this one is amazing and one of the best so far. Super fresh ingredients guaranteed by the small quantity of sushi made. Good vegetarian options. The lady is really nice.
A must go in a sunny day if you are in Wanaka !

Decent quality sushi at low price. 3 for eel, 2 for salmon/tuna/etc.,, 1.5 for vegetables/others/and rolls. We took 8 and came out to be 15 dollars. Can be a nice lunch box!
