The Pancake Parlour

Date/time of visit: 13 June 2022 at 9:15pm (approx) Stopped in for a light meal after a movie. The venue had a good relaxing atmosphere. The food was good. I was a little concerned the crepe had been burnt on the top but it didn't taste like it - just crispy. The food was good and consistent with previous visits over the years (except for the crispy crepe top - don't remember if that's normal). Public holiday surcharge was 15%. Price of the beef mexican crepe and chicken Mexican crepe felt a little high (without the surcharge) - it's an enjoyable meal but the price point just a little high for what it is and what you get. But this is the way with dining out these days and we'll have to be mindful of such costs. Because of the cost factor I've dropped it to 3 stars. Pancake Parlour is good and enjoyable, nothing wrong with the food, staff were friendly and helpful but pricing just a tad high for what it is. I would like to give 4 stars and would have done so sometime ago.

Honestly, quite disappointed in the presentation and quality of the food. With the price, I could go to any local cafe to get better quality and cheaper. But they do have great staff and custom service. Sadly, this Pancake Parlour hasn't got one of those funny music clocks that play every hour. Thought I could bring the kids there to entertain.

Food was good. Ordered Chicken Schnitzel, Barramundi and Cajun Chicken Salad. The Tiramisu was good too. Staff was very attentive and polite. Portion was big and for some items on the menu, there is a entry side (small). This will not be stated on the menu. You can see it on the mobile app of pancake parlour or you cam check with the staff.

Amazing pancakes, a great place to have a nice warm desert. The sweet as well as savoury options are very fulfilling and love the quality and the quantity. The tiramisu pancake, the salted caramel and the original stack are our favourites. How’d go back for these time and again. The Mexican crepes are something that we cannot have enough of in the savoury section along with the potato pancake. Have not tried a lot of Swiss malts and the ice creams yet. The packaging for the take away is very sustainable.

Had lunch here with the family and found the food not bad at all. Staff are certainly lovely and the customer service was real good. Restaurant is clean and definitely large enough to handle many hungry customers. Pricing and food presentatiion could definitely be better but fair. All in all, will definitely be back as found it quite enjoyable.
