Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

Chicken chow mien, sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken curry and egg fried rice. Food always fresh and cooked beautifully. The only thing that lets it down for me is the curry sauce. It’s just awful so I have to order a chicken curry instead which is slightly better but still not quite what you expect, the curry itself has too much onion and peppers for me personally. The noodles are perfect for me and can’t find them anywhere else that does them the authentic way. The chicken balls are very good but the sweet and sour sauce could be better. Overall I give 5 stars for quality, freshness and speedy delivery. The staff give good service and the food arrives hot.

Omg this is the best Chinese I have had in a long time!! Highly recommended. Forgot to take photos of the food at we pretty much inhaled it once it was on the table. We were staying at Hunters Moon and didn't want to cook. Opens at 5.30pm. Can eat in or have a delivery or takeout. We went in to order. Was very busy on the phone with delivery orders. Lady was very friendly.

What a little gem this place is....we booked on Sunday night and when we got there it was extremely quite....looked at the menu and ordered our food. I have to say the starters came out well presented and hot. We ordered 3 currys and requested for 2 of them to be extra hot and again we were not disappointed the taste was excellant....chicken was succulent and prawns cooked to perfection. We will definitely go again if we are in the area

Great Wall is the best restaurant in Warminster. Not only amazing Chinese food, good range of Cantonese dishes and Chinese beers, but absolutely amazing service. Highly recommend the sauteed lamb, caramelized onion and black pepper; the chef's special curry, the crispy duck, szechuan fish, the crispy seaweed and deep fried praws with chilli and salt. Been there already over 6 times, each ordering differently and everytime the dish surprises me with flavour, freshness and yummimess. Just exquisite and always recommend.

Pros: Most food taste really good esp the chinese mushroom. Fast service be it takeaway or eat in. Cons: Only cash below £10 transaction. Curry sauce contains weird transparent jelly like substance which is ever present. ( Everytime when i ordered it) The fried stuffs like ribs and wings seems to be overfried. Need to improve.
