Cheesecake Heaven

Maybe the 5-star ratings raised my expectations too highly. I mean, with ratings at this level I at least expected fresh whipped cream. And a little more presentation love. We wont go into the fact that the absolutely required Graham cracker crust is almost non- existent. Its there, but minimally. Finally, key lime cheesecake should have a beautiful tangy twist in every bite- they missed that here too. So, I think I could pull off a better definition of key lime cheesecake at home or Harris Teeter. But, at 5.75 a slice...2 stars will do. The guy who helped me was a joy, so he boosted the star earnings by 1.

This quaint shop is a pleasant stop for an unusual snack. A slice of cheesecake on your way home or a whole cheesecake for a special occasion. The have a flavor for every taste bud. My favorite is either original or Key Lime with the shortbread crust. The slices or whole cakes come frozen and need to thaw. However I love eating my slice just a tad bit frozen. This is a drive-thru so no seating. They do accept credit cards. Sometimes whole cakes are gone. Best little surprise on Lee Highway, a must stop.

Was looking for an affordable birthday cheesecake for our daughter and we end up finding heaven! Extremely beautiful and delicious cheesecake here for a very reasonable price. We end up getting her this birthday cake for $20 which is the same as a cake at Wegmans but this one supports small business! End up grabbing one of their single slice fudge brownie and chocolate mousse which taste as perfect as it sounds. Will definitely be going back!
