Waffle House

I do not expect a lot when visiting a Waffle House. Get food right....nope. Refill my coffee at least once...nope, do not ignore me after giving me my food...nope. Forgot to put cheese on my hash browns, then when I pointed out the hashbrown did not have any cheese on top, the cook just grabbed a slice of cheese, dragged across the grill and slapped it on top. Got a half filled cup of coffee to start off with, never was even asked if I needed a refill. After handing my food, no one ever talked to me again (I am at the counter where every server has to walk by me). This would include after I was done eating to offer me my bill. I currently have a empty coffe mug and a empty plate in front of me. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and have typed this entire post with out anyone asking if I was dine, offer me more coffee, give me a check or even saying a word to me.

Would give zero starts if I could. I visited tonight with my husband while we were on a road trip and I watched in horror and shock as the cook use the same gloves that touched raw meat to finish preparing our meal. He contaminated the salt and pepper shaker, he contaminated the container of cut onions and cut pickles. He contaminated the spatula. He contaminated our sandwiches when he touched them. Just because you were wearing gloves does not mean they are magic gloves and you can ignore food safety. When I pointed this out all they did was offer to remake the food. We left. Do not eat here it will make you very sick.
